Mojo Monday card

I know it's not Monday, but this card IS getting submitted for the Mojo Monday Challenge. I am in love with this 6x6 paper pack by Pinkpaislee.

This week's challenge is round or square, and I took the square route on this one.
The card is 5 1/4" and stamped with "Congratulations". I really think the red "stamps" make this pop, what do you think?

This card is being entered in Mojo Monday #295

I'm going to the birds....

Happy Hump Day everyone! I want to give you a sneak peak into a project that I've been working on for about a week. I saw this birdhouse at my local craft store a few months ago and fell in love, but I couldn't figure out what to do with it until I found a certain pack of paper....

Here's how it started...

The roof wasn't the easiest thing to do...

Aren't these papers GORGEOUS?!
Here's how it currently sits....

I just need to find a little time to cover the base, then I can start adding all the little things that will really make this POP! Check back soon, cause I'm hoping to have this done in the next few days!

I'm starting with a two in one!

I'm going to start this off with a BANG! Two firsts right off the bat. One being the first post, and two being my first Mojo Monday challenge!

All of the papers (besides the base) are DCWV's Latte Matstack. The base is some ivory paper that I have had for years. (You'll probably see a lot of that as I used to paper craft and just got back into it about 6 months ago)
I used Fiskars scalloped edge punch for the cream scalloped edge, and Stampin'Up! Oval Framelits for the sentiment. The sentiment and sentiment background  is also Stampin'Up! and is part of the  Oh, Hello bundle (along with the Oval Framelits).  I stamped the "Thanks so much" with Stampin'Up! Night of Navy, and the grey on the arrow background is a Marvy marker.  The cute little blingys are Recollections.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed my first post, I hope to have many new projects to keep filling the pages for you!
